Thinking of a skydiving adventure? If so, You've picked the right place! Get excited, your
only a few actions away from making your curiosity about skydiving a reality.
Welcome to Pennsylvania Skydiving Professionals. Here it is our privileged duty to make sure that your first
skydive is everything that you expected and more!
We offer you the choice of picking what type of first jump you would like to make. For first
skydivers, you can make a tandem skydive, or an Accelerated Freefall(AFF) jump. Both differ greatly in
preparation and difficulty and require the assistance of our skilled staff of instructors, who are each top-
notch, USPA certified professionals with thousands of jumps made combined.
The Information below will give you more insight on the options that we provide and hopefully help you in making your decision to skydive with us.
*To make any skydive you must be at least 18
years of age.
Tandem Jump
This is the preferred first jump. It
demands the least amount of training (usually less than an hour) and requires the highest level of safety.
You will be accompanied by one of our certified tandem instructors throughout the entire skydive. Your jump
will consist of a gravity-defying freefall from the skies that lasts around 70 seconds, then just as fast as
the blink of an eye, the parachute deployment starts your 7 to 9 minute canopy ride back to the earth. At
your request you may assist in steering the parachute.
Accelerated Freefall
Accelerated
Freefall(AFF) is the first step towards becoming certified and jumping
on your own. This advanced method of skydiving requires you to attend
a 4 to 6 hour training class that is intended to teach you the fundamentals
of making a solo skydive. You will be accompanied by two USPA rated
AFF jump masters at your sides, who will provide direct assistance
during your exit from the plane and your freefall. When the time
comes, you will have the liberty of deploying your own parachute.
During your canopy ride, you will receive radio assistance as you
steer your descent back to the dropzone.
